Called to check availability 15 minutes later I was adjusted. Dr. Pico was a gentleman and I am 6’5″ 270 so in dealing with a gorilla it did not phase him and he did this all in one attempt.

Where do I begin?! Aside from healing my overly out of aligned spine, Dr. Pico is as personable as a family member. You truly feel comfortable and at home when your there for a visit. I’ve been to other chiropractors and they just give you a quick twist and pop and send you out the door as fast as possible. So much to say about Dr. Pico. First, he is hands down the most intuitive, skilled chiropractor in NYC. Coming from a family of chiropractors, I am very familiar with many techniques and approaches. Dr. Pico is a purist whose laser focus yields amazing results. He is great with my kids too. A truly intelligent and caring health care provider, I trust him implicitly. Since my last post two months ago, I’ve been regularly attending my appointments with Dr. Pico. His treatment has alleviated the pain in my neck and lower back. I’m able to do more activities and exercise as a result. Also, I can now hold my DSLR camera around my neck without hot burning pain immediately shooting down my neck and shoulder. Dr.Picos office from the minute you walk in is an oasis away from the stress of life. Very calm atmosphere in the waiting area. Dr. Pico has a gentle , thorough approach with his adjustments that leave you feeling good once you are done. In the city most doctors are not available Friday or Saturday but he is so that’s very helpful to have someone so accessible for an adjustment going into the weekend if you need it. The location is right near the train station and the building he’s in is very welcoming. Doormen at the desk are very nice downstairs before you head upstairs to his office. Overall you will not be disappointed ,the whole experience makes you feel glad you visited.

My good friends referred me to Dr.Pico and I started weekly visits in Sept of 2016. His office is close to the broadcast center and his staff is super friendly and accommodating.
I am a hairdresser, so low back pain was my main issue. Dr.Pico explained my X-rays and treatment plan thoroughly. He is very knowledgeable not to mention very gentle- I continue to maintain my spine and my central nervous system health through regular chiropractic adjustments. Listen. I’ve tried many chiropractors over years, because of a neck that’s a mess. Problems around C4 in the spine, but Dr. Pico and his crew are simply the best! I have been with Dr. Pico for a year and a half at this point. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He takes his time with you, he will listen and respond to his best abilities and give you a hug after the adjustment if you need it. He is holistic thinking and knows that health is many things. (Try a $1000 MRI and rotator cuff surgery, as a “doctor” advised me? Not without trying something else first.) His manner immediately inspired confidence. I felt I was in the hands of an experienced professional. And although I was from out of town, just visiting NY for a few days, he did what he could and said I’d probably have to follow up with treatment by someone else where I lived.
