Almost Raw Energy Bars

What you need :                                                                         

2 Cups of oats

Flaked coconut – ( I threw in what I wanted ) use what you like

Nuts ( any ) – (I used a handful )

Fruit ( I used dates ) – ( I chopped up about 6 dates )

Seeds ( Flax or Sunflower work the best ) – ( I used half a handful )

Coconut oil – 4 tbsp

Brown sugar – 3 tbsp

What to do:

Place the nuts, seeds and coconut on a greased baking sheet in a preheated 350 oven. Toast until golden brown ( about 5 mins)

Pulverize the oats in a blender or food processor until almost a flour consistency
Chop up the fruit you use – feel free to use dried cherries, blueberries, cranberries

Add the fruit to the oats in a bowl, once the nuts, seeds and coconut are done add them to the oats as well ( mix well)

In a pan add 3tbsp of brown sugar to 4 tbsp. of coconut oil and melt together, add to the bowl of dry ingredients mixing until all is coated.

Place everything on a greased baking sheet, mold into a rectangle shape and bake for 3 mins and place on counter to cool.

Cut into bars or square when completely cool
